Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 2026 · Effective: October 2026

What are cookies

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to the website operator.

tax.com.cy itself sets one cookie, only when you open Taxerly, to count your free questions. Otherwise we use your browser’s local storage only to remember your cookie choice and, if you agree, a cookieless analytics service to understand how the site is used.

What we store and load

tax.com.cy does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not share data with advertisers.
STRICTLY NECESSARY
Always active

tax.com.cy sets one cookie of its own, taxerly_anon, and only when you open Taxerly: it holds a random identifier that counts your free questions, and it is sent only to Taxerly. We store your cookie choice in your browser’s local storage so we do not ask you again on every page. Both are needed for the service you use and to respect your choice, so they cannot be switched off. Your cookie choice is not sent to us or to anyone else.

ANALYTICS
Off until you accept

Only if you click “Accept all”, we load Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and a few anonymous events: when a calculator is used, when a contact, quote or booking form is sent, and when someone joins the newsletter. Vercel Web Analytics sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It does not identify you or follow you across other websites. We never send what you type into forms or calculators, and we remove anything after the “?” in page addresses before they are sent.

THIRD-PARTY
Booking page only

The booking calendar on our booking page is provided by Cal.com and loads from app.cal.com. Cal.com may set its own cookies or use browser storage to show available times and complete your booking. We do not control these. Please see Cal.com’s privacy and cookie policies.

Managing cookies

You can control and manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse cookies, delete existing cookies and be notified when cookies are set.

If you block local storage, the site still works, but we cannot remember your cookie choice and will ask again on each visit.

To manage cookies in your browser: Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data. Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data. Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data.

Cookie consent

When you first visit tax.com.cy, we ask whether you agree to analytics. Nothing optional loads until you choose “Accept all”. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page, or with the link below.

We record your choice, with the time you made it, in your browser. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
